September successes

September was such an incredible month for our mission, and it was largely due to the various forms of support we continue to receive from so many individuals. We are truly thankful for everyone who is supporting our mission in any way as your efforts are impacting the lives of thousands of children around the world.

We opened the month by sending a shipment of stuffed animals to the Mukisa Girls Foundation in Uganda. We were so blessed by the images we received of the children with their stuffed animals.

Early in the month, as was highlighted in our previous blog post, I was able to visit the Oasis de Amor orphanage in Honduras for the 11th time in the past five years. In addition to taking items such as stuffed animals and coloring books to the children, Father’s Hope was also able to purchase much-needed new playground equipment for the orphanage.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our mission to make that significant purchase possible. I can still not adequately express in words just how thankful and excited the children were to see their new equipment.

It was also a blessing just to be able to spend time with the children.

A few hours before I was to leave for Honduras, I received a request for thousands of stuffed animals from our friends at Kids Around The World. The organization ships playgrounds to orphanages around the world and they had a request for Father’s Hope stuffed animals to be included in a shipment to Swaziland.

Father’s Hope was able to provide over 2,000 stuffed animals for that effort, and those stuffed animals are currently on their way to Swaziland.

Swaziland is the 19th country in which Father’s Hope has been able to show some love to children in. I

ncluding the stuffed animals that are on their way there, we have now reached over 23,000 children in four years.

Kids Around the World is currently on a mission to Haiti, and as part of their mission volunteers with the organization had stuffed animals from Father’s Hope to distribute to orphans they are working with there. We just received some incredible images from Kids Around the World of happy Haitian children with Father’s Hope stuffed animals.

THANK YOU to everyone supporting our efforts in any way. Your generosity allowed us to bring happiness to so many children in September, and has allowed us to touch the lives of thousands of children over the past four years.

To support Father’s Hope, or our efforts to continue to bless the children at Oasis de Amor, your tax-deductible financial contributions can be sent to: Father’s Hope, 9 Greenbriar Drive, Milton PA 17847. We are an all-volunteer effort so all donations we receive direct benefit the children we work with.

We also welcome the opportunity to speak about our mission to church groups, youth groups, community organizations, school groups or any other entity. To schedule a speaker from Father’s Hope, email fathers.hope@gmail.com.

Thank you again for everything you have done to help us touch so many children across the globe,
